Utility Billing
The City of Baldwin City provides Electric, Water, and Sewer utilities, and combines charges for all of these as well as refuse collection on the same monthly bill.
To establish service, obtain and fill out a utility card at City Hall, provide a current driver's license, pay a connection fee of $20 and applicable deposits ($100 for electric; $50 for water). Deposits (plus any interest earned) are applied to the final bill. If you are due a refund it will be mailed to the forwarding address provided by you.
Payment of utility bills should be made payable to "City of Baldwin City" and can be by bank draft, check, mailed, brought in, or deposited in the drop box located south of the City Hall entrance.
