CITY COUNCIL
Baldwin City is comprised of five at-large city council members elected by open public vote.
CITY ADMINISTRATOR
The City Administrator is responsible for carrying out City Policy in daily administration.
Departments
FIRE DEPARTMENT
The Baldwin City Fire Department was chartered on February 4, 1910 as a volunteer fire department and has been an active department ever since.
POLICE DEPARTMENT
Baldwin City has a professional police force comprised of 12 employees.
PUBLIC WORKS
The Public Works Department maintains 12 employees under the direction of the Public Works Director.
ELECTRIC
Electric Production is the domain of three full time power plant employees, while Electric Distribution falls to four linemen.
CITY HALL
Administration, Utility Billing, Communications, and Municipal Court are all functions handled by employees housed at City Hall.
